This book was a slow burn for me. A very, very slow burn. The overall plot of the book is something I am very much familiar with, but this style of writing took me a while to process. I can only categorize it as inner noise. You will get a lot of inner thoughts from the female lead, I just wish it could have balanced out to the male lead as well.

It has a great underlying message about the people you meet in your life. That was one of the highlights and my favorite takeaway.

Aside from the detailed thoughts, I had very strong feelings about the ending of this book and not necessarily in a good day. No spoilers, but I felt like once I was finally settled with the story literally the last two pages just made me want to toss my kindle.

Overall a very sweet, very fun, lighthearted read to pass the time!
