Scary stories aren’t usually my thing. I wanted a palette cleanser and this was exactly what I needed. The details of various Indigenous cultures and various readers held my attention and gave each story its own unique flavor and feeling. This is one I’ll revisit when I want something dark and quick.

The Vampire Knitting Club series has quickly become a favorite of mine. I didn’t think I’d be so caught up in a cozy murder series but here I am, absolutely hooked. The series is a fun romp that doesn’t get too dark or heavy despite the string of murders. I’ve been breezing through the series and have yet to be disappointed.

This series has definitely grown on me. This one was my favorite by far. I was truly upset when
Margaret took Nyx from Lucy
. If my emotions are that involved, it's definitely earned a special place in my Read Books List. I may even buy physical copies of this series to keep on hand.
