Not as good as the first book, a little slow in places and the characters problems do seem a little repetitive but I love the characters so much that I'm not bothered about having so much content for them. The last 100 pages or so is where the action and interest really happens. Ends on a cliff hanger so can't wait for the 3rd book

So the book can be a bit of drag but as someone who is a massive fan of the film it's definitely worth a read. It's an adaptation of the film so you don't lose anything if you want to watch the film first.

I don't know if I just wasn't in the mood for it but the writing seemed very dull and it was a chore to read it at times
