This is the third book in the holiday village Romances. This story is all about Valentine's Day, a cutie Cupid and a no nonsense witch. It's pure entertainment, it's witty and spicy the perfect escape from reality.

What a cute Romcom. This is part of a series but can totally be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the characters. This story mostly revolves about the love between the two main characters but it feels like more. The side characters just as developed and unique. So it's convenient for me that they all have their own love storys to read.

Quick and a bit rushed, I think this would have been a great book. There is so much plot that would be amazing for a full length novel.

This was truly unsettling. It's such a perverted and misogynistic society and nothing is really unbelievable. Everything thing that happens seems likely. Nothing that takes place in the book seems like atrocious fiction.

I think it's the perfect time to read this and reflect on. Be aware what is changing and how it effects the people around you and what you are made to believe.

This was a epic journey. The series was truly gripping and enthralling. It was a pleasure being alongside for the ride. The characters have grown close to my heart and I can't believe that it's over.

This book was even better than book one if that is possible.

This is a dark fae fantasy romance series that follows the story of an imprisoned woman who longs to escape her cage. it has everything! A fast placed plot with high stakes, lush worldbuilding and deadly trials.
The second book in particular was captivating through the dual POV, the banter, the slow burn, the spice…  And it’s a genuine enemy-to-lovers story .

I also love the evolution of Lor. She’s still as badass and feisty as in book one, but seeing her rediscovering herself is so good. I cannot wait to see what she becomes in the future books.

This series has taken over my life and I'm so here for it.

I have some mixed feelings about this book.
The mmc is a hot hockey player billionaire that is also a single Dad and hires a bodyguard to protect his daughter because there are death threats against her.
The mfc is a former FBI agent that is now in personal security and knows how to defend herself.
The daughter of the billionaire is 6 bratty, full of mischief and has the worst timing ever.

What I did not like spoilers! :

The female lead had to leave the FBI because she was sexually assaulted by her boss. His word was against hers and nobody believed her.
She then was again sexually assaulted in this book. And did not go to the police. I don't like what that suggests women to do in these instances.
She comes across as weak the whole time.
She never really does the job she was hired for. All she does is playing his girlfriend don't get me wrong the romance in those parts is great but it feels like she was never supposed to be the person to protect someone. Because she is always the victim.

A fantastic fantasy book. The plot is amazing there are twists and turns and secrets left and right. Everything I want from a intriguing fantasy. There is a feisty main female character Lor who has survived the most gruesome prisons ever. There's a sun king, handsome as hell and so charming. There are deadly trials to establish the new sun queen. The other contestants are gorgeous fae woman who have been wanting this their whole life. There is this incredible world with history, lore, multiple rulers and kingdoms. And all of it written so immersing and vividly.
I am immediately starting the second book, because I need to know where the story will continue to.

Sadly this wasn't a good book for me. The female lead was being stalked and was totally fine with it. She was so naive and trusting,  I couldn't relate to her.
The writing was really good. The story flows nicely. the spicey scenes were written good.
If you are a dark romance fan it might be the perfect book for you!
