A view from the inside

A look at the world of being manic depressive from a first person point of view. Often scattered and erratic, the story plays on the same way the world truly is to those who suffer with this malady. Thank you for the honesty and the openness and for sharing it with us.

Including notations by the authors, we are able to get a much more “behind the scenes” look at this epic fantasy series that proves the balance must be maintained in the world and evil turns upon itself. My most highest recommendations!
When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

Facing the knowledge of his own coming mortality, Dr. Kalanithi takes the reader on a journey from doctor to patient. The majority of the book focuses on Paul's experience as a neurosurgeon but the highlights come when we get glimpses into his mind as he determines what is most important to him when he knows his time is limited. A thought provoking manuscript on what it's like to face your own finality.

Amy Schumer gives us an insight into what made her who she is today and along the way shows us how a smart, strong woman can unapologetically be whomever she wishes to be, even when it includes regrettable ink.
