Reading some children's books written in both Spanish and English to expand exposure and comprehension.

This story is both hopeful and sad. Great allegory, especially for kids.

Per my therapist's suggestion, I read this book. When she's right, she's right. This book was very educational and insightful. At times, I felt like I fit the textbook description of a HSP. It has really helped call out unhealthy habits (in a constructive way) and help me become more self-aware of how to guard myself, set healthy boundaries, and hopefully one day, love fully and securely.

I appreciate the perspective of the author as they provide historicall  accurate insights from both sides of the political spectrum. Their journalistic vantage point lends a succinct insightfulness to the book.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.
Couldn't get into it. It felt very similar to many other books I've read this year and I was getting tired of th  same storylin. Might pick it up again next year.
