I had high hopes for this book but not only is it extremely off putting that the female characters exist to be desired by the main character or discarded as uninteresting once he’s bored of them, the middle of the book is waffle and feels half baked. I’m annoyed that the ending actually piqued my interest a little bit, because I really don't want to have to read the other two books in this series.
