This one was so different than I anticipated.
The guys are stuck together at Nelsons house waiting out a hurricane that is moving through the area
They know each other to say help from work but that is it.

Caleb was pretty open and I enjoyed his empathy to Minx. He seems pretty happy go lucky at times and is very easy to get to know.

Nelson even with his point of view is hard to get to know, he is standoffish at times and it was kind of annoying. Then it came out why he was so withdrawn and I was amazed at the reasoning, but also felt so much for him. The way Caleb handled this was fantastic. In fact the way Caleb handled the whole thing, with what would been a deal breaker for many others was really well done.

This a short Christmas story centering around a vet how had just taken over his father's practice.

I love story with a vet as a MC and this one didn't disappoint. It had good pacing that even though it was a short story I didn't feel like I was missing things.

I liked Trevor and the compassion he showed the animals. Even though he didn't feel comfortable and was being judged by their owners he always dd what was right for the animal.

Mike was also a great character. He understood early that there were parts of Trevor that he couldn't change and if he couldn't deal with it (Like his always being late due to emergencies at the surgery) then he needed to leave. He didn't throw useless tantrums and had planned in advance for what he needed to do.

Good afternoon's read

This one was hard to rate. It started off really slow for me as we had to be introduced to a number of. characters that all have something to do with the plot. It picked up near the half way mark once the couples were all introduced and started interacting together.

I think the sheer number of characters hurts this one, as I found it extremely hard to keep track of who was who, who was partnered with who and everyone's intentions. This did start as an audible series and I think it would have been better as an audio as the differing characters would have had different voices.

Once I got minimal handle on who was who it did pickup. I did wish we could focus on one couple more as it has thinned the story out

I was annoyed with Mars at the end. I hope he can redeem himself for the pain he caused his intended.

I enjoyed this one. Randy didn't have the best introduction in the previous book and I wondered if he would redeem himself here, and he did. He came across as good guy. I think understanding more about him and his motivations helped his character.

I loved how he was with Ethan from the very start. he was drawn to him and no matter how much he put into the relationship, he never believed Ethan would stay, but he never went half in. He gave Ethan every opportunity to fly.

Ethan was a good character as well. He just needed to believe in himself better. When he wasn't thinking about it he dd great, it was when he stopped and his thoughts caught up with him that he started doubting.

Good addition to the series

I've had this one for a couple of years waiting to be in the mood for it. Not sure I was in the right mood but it took me a while to get into it. There were parts I really enjoyed and these parts I powered through, but there were also parts I struggled with, so found this one really hard to rate.

I like the guys together and individually, although Adares annoyed me at times with some of the things he did near the end. I felt like there should have been some more animosity between the two at the start. Regardless if Rus didn't want to be there, they were on opposing sides and I'd was expecting a bit more of the enemies to lovers theme.

Rus I liked. He did what he did and had his own morals and values he kept to. I felt for him at the end as his friend's reaction made him feel bad and kind of cemented what he believed of the tribe and his place in it. I'm glad they talked things out and patched things up.

Adares was also a good character, and I did work out his secret at the start. I just felt like his narration slowed the story down for me. I seemed to prefer it when Rus was narrating. I wasn't keen on the way he treated Rus near the end, it was very pressuring, but at least he apologised.

While parts of the story were good, it seemed to be missing something for me.

I love these boys, I reread this book every year or so and to have it on audio is fabulous
I love the guys in all their kinky glory, as they work their way together.

The way the author has portrayed the way they each approach their wants and needs works for me.

There is a real sense of trial and error, and Mitch's reluctance to go too far with Sam is both frustrating and well done. Watching Sam open up to his wants as he experiences new things is lovely. Mitch had a real good read of Sam and what gets him off, in fact probably better than Sam at times, so he was able to when he let go, push Sam to explore is boundaries.

Randy drives me nuts in this book, and at the start when he was introduced I was angry at Mitch for leaving Sam with him. He knew Randy would try and mess with Sam's head, yes he needed sleep but he left Sam to his own devices and unprotected. It was the first time he left him unprotected and it did work out but it could have gone the other way easily.

Sam's growth to accepting who he is and what he enjoys is well done. He ends with a sense of peace and sell worth that he didn't have at the start.

Nice enjoyable book. I haven't read the previous ones, which would usually make it hard for me to enjoy this one, but I had no troubles connecting with the characters. I loved Rowan, his personality was just fabulous.

Gideon was also nice but being the grumpy one it was harder to like him.
The time spent with Rowan's family was fun. They are fun bunch and a good foil for the strait laced Gideon.

I will go back eventually and read the previous books as I would like to see the way they were through others eyes.

Good addition to Brandon and Dustin’s story.
I liked that Tristan reached out and no matter how much he wanted to things were not smooth sailing, it made it more real, showing that there was work that needed to be done for the brothers to reconnect fully.
I felt for Brandon that his brother was the way he was.

the 3rd book in the series continues on the storyline of the bones found in the woods. Unfortunately it hasn't progressed this storyline at all. We still don't know who they are or why they were tried in the woods and it's getting a little frustrating for me.

I did enjoy Andre and Dante's story though. Andre wasn't happy with his life and made a change becoming Chief of Police in Cooper Springs. Dante when being able to leave uncover life follows him there to protect his niece. I did like the relationship with between Dante and Dani, although I think I wanted a little bit more. There were times when I felt Dani was forgotten when the guys got together. I still find it hard to believe they were side tracked at the end. They knew what was happening but still managed to get side tracked.

The thing about these books is that no matter that there are holes it is still very entertaining for me and I enjoy reading them.

Hopefully the next book progresses the bones storyline and we get a little bit of closure there.
