The basis of the book is very good but everything seems to be rushed. I’d have like more depth in the different worlds and explanations in the curse and family dynamics.

Audible book: This books was intense to listen to and it definitely gives a deep understanding of bipolar disorder and how it affects the person and the people around them. As someone with mental health issues, I felt for both Mara and Kat in different ways. Their friendship has managed to navigate through one of the most challenging periods of both their lives but it does show what a difference it makes to be surrounded by loving and supportive people. I have to give a big shout out to also Kat’s Dave for not giving up on her.

This book does have a lot of TW which some might find very difficult to read/listen to. TW: mental health, domestic violence, rape, physical abuse, medical content, infertility, abortion.

This is a beautifully written book. I could totally relate to some of the writing about motherhood! It is quite shocking to think that no matter what period in history, women have been abused and turned into “witches” for the ego of men when rebelling to standard situations or not complying with them.

I loved this book so much, it’s nice to have Diana and Matthew back and to see how their lives is developing as individuals and together. I just hope that we won’t have to wait years for the next book to be released.
