After how kinda meh I found the previous book, this one was back up to my expectations. Apollo is sassy but loves his human friends and is learning a lot of lessons.
Grover, Piper and Jason are in this one.
What a crazy book.

Having read the blurb I still wasn’t entirely prepared for this book. Honestly I loved this. It’s fucking bananas. Just read it. It’s fast, it’s fucked, it’s great.

Spirited Situation follows two POVs; Josh, an untrained medium who can’t hold a job or any relationships because he can see ghosts and Ewan, a handsome buff blacksmith who works at Mannix Estate, a haunted destination hotel.
Of course the night they first meet and have explosive sex (like immediately, so brace yourself if that’s not a vibe you enjoy) they aren’t aware that they are about to become coworkers.
They circle and find each other as expected.
What is truly a joy in this book is that all of the side characters (some of which are ghosts!) are all lovely. They can get a bit confusing at times but each character really is unique. I’m looking forward to reading more of this series and seeing the rest of the characters find love too. A little bummed that this is an MM series and there is a female ace character so there won’t be any bother of inclusion showing how ace relationships work. She really felt like the most side side character ever and that was disappointing.

Unlike the first book I really struggled with this one. I might just not have been in the right mood for it. I really did like the back half of the book but the first bit was a drag.
I will be reading another book in this series if one comes out after this one (I know a prequel is coming but I mean a book taking place after this one lol).
