Lust by Devon McCormack

Well I’m thoroughly hooked on the Sinners after our steamy, magical introduction through Brad and Luke.

“What Luke and I do…that’s just us.
Wild, feral lust.
As though our bodies were designed for each other.”

Luke and Brad are definitely drawn to one another and in the most enjoyable ways. I really liked watching these two navigate a rocky beginning to a solid partnership.

The mystery that surrounds not only this enigmatic but fascinating campus has its hold on me, and I must know it all, from the full history to all the players, even those who weren’t shown, mhmm, in the best of light. From uncertain magic to certain trouble, I am lusting after more of this world.

Moar moar moar

I could happily survive on snippets and memories of Adam, Victor and Zee, so imagine, if you will, my squeals of glee when I heard there was not one but three more books of beautiful chaos headed our way.

“Dayam, you’re beautiful.”
A blush warmed my face. “You really think so?”
“I know it.” His hand rested gently over my heart. “Inside and out, you’re the most beautiful thing I ever saw, and I’ve seen Daddy Spice naked.”

Yum, and that’s a tame word for the deliciousness of my favorite trio and the laugh-out-loud bananas adventures they find. Though I will say this one is all thanks to Adam and his, erm, desire for a “vacation.” Whatever the impetus, and we’ve only cracked the lid, I adore every moment with them and love every unforgettable word they utter.

Royal AF

How did I not know how much I needed Dash and Archie in my life?! NGL I wish their story was five times the length it is because A. More Archie and Dash and B. More Dash and Archie. They are the absolute best.

“You said repeats aren’t something you do.”
“Well—” My gaze flicks up to his crown. “—I can always make an exception for royalty.”

Archie and Dash should always be an exception because their love is warm, funny, sweet and an everlasting hug. I. Love. It. And now must satisfy my craving to dive back in to the Frat Wars world, starting with Charles and Zeke.

Fidget

Some bunny tell me it isn’t over because I need moar. Oh how I’ve missed this world and now I need to re-read them all because seeing everyone again has me falling in love all over again. I think I’m a bit like Mal because from the very first time he jumped on page, I was hooked and needed everything to do with him and Nico.

“Do you feel how hard I am right now? I want to make you cry. I want to hear you beg. I want to have to gag you to keep our friends from calling the cops.” Nico worried he might actually pass out. He’d never imagined hearing these words from those pretty, flawless lips. “Hurt you? Baby…I want to destroy you.”

Gah, they destroyed me in the best of ways and I neeeeeed their love in my life. I can’t quite reach Nico’s levels, he’s a master, but picture big, sad eyes and a cute pout. I really, really enjoyed the character growth in this. Watching Nico open his heart, or realize he already had, and seeing him and Mal find their dynamic was a purrfect experience. I’m already rubbing my hands in glee for Ranger and I’m also hoping that perhaps certain people will find their way even deeper into our lives. Either way I know what my next re-read is going to be and I’m already Moonstruck over it.

I think we all need a little P.O.O.F. in our lives. Low to no angst, interesting characters, and a little helping hand from magic.

“I wanted that. Someone to look at me with devotion, with a fierce possessiveness, with a gentleness that was only for me, and with a depth of love that I could drown in when I gazed into their eyes.”

It sure worked for Amalesh and Tiki, especially with their memorable introduction! I liked how they both fully accept each other as is and the cameos are fantastic. Who knows what fate has in store next, but I’m sure it will be magical.
