the prose, the yearning, how the letters to each other are so heartbreakingly beautiful they had me gasping for air; this book is perfect 

when you hear me say i don’t like historical fiction, i'm NEVER referring to kristin hannah's books! the second half was slower paced than the first, but nonetheless, i loved it

i can’t deal with noelle as a character 

her writing is so addicting and if i didn’t accidentally spoil this for myself, i know i would’ve enjoyed it much more 

freida’s book are enjoyably easy to read! i don’t find her plot twists to be anything too shocking, but she writes in a way that has you wanting to continue reading
