I just really do not like Juliette’s narration style, but the book was cool overall. The ending was a little rushed but I’m glad my humans didn’t die. Still enjoyable to read hehehe

I think it’s a really good reintroduction to the original trio with challenges for a whole new reason. I think Rick always does an amazing job at making Percy win by altering his POV on the subject or person. It’s always so thought provoking and emotional to me. This one dealt with some themes and motifs that made me hella emotional. Excited to read the second one.

This book is a beautiful telling, through a quest., of the complexity of personal change (through queerness) and grief. I feel like it healed something in me. It details the difficult of learning to live with your demons, grief, and trauma. I loved it so much. Nico and Will are my babies.

My husband came out and I was so happy. I really love the diversity of issues and emotions they have and how the world is woven into the Greek and Roman camps. Alex fierro is a badass.

Very chill, slow burn. Miscommunication trope, but I loved the characters. It was a very relaxing romcom ready for most of the time. Genuinely made me laugh.

This is such a good examination of how access to knowledge impacts colonialism. It also highlights how colonialism feeds the colonizer not just material goods, but how the goods like language that no one thinks about also empower it. Analyses colonialism and the complications that arise in a person when you’re a BIPOC that lives in a colonial country affect your soul and mind. It was beautiful and heartbreaking.
