The only drowning this made me study was my sinking understanding of the reasonings behind the character‘s actions. 

I will concede, however, the vibes did not disapoint and were pretty much the only thing that helped this book and it‘s many less than likable characters keep their heads above the water.

I guess the emotional fluctuation in this book is like being impaled by an icicle:

At first you feel hardly anything, then the feeling starts creeping in and then it starts to hurt.
And then peace sets in as everything ends.

This book has a genius concept and a really intriguing main character but in the end it sadly felt like the logical plot disappeared in the Aether alongside my understanding for the antagonists.
