What a tense, emotional adventure!! Reminded me a lot of ATLA, but with a very unique twist. Everyone’s development was so intriguing to follow. Can’t wait to start the second book.
Where Did You Go? by Jeneane O'Riley

I'll give this one a three. The writing still wasn't *great*, but I loved the friendship balance between Eli and Caly and the spice was spicing (not as triggering as the last book). Also appreciated Caly's development. The "twist" at the end wasn't as shocking as the first two, but made sense to who the characters are. Will be very interested to see how the story ends in the last book.

Helen freaking does it again!! Mixes yearning and romance perfectly within a captivating fantasy story. I laugh, learned, SOBBED!! Can’t wait for July!

My first finished Austen novel! One down, six more to go for my 2025 reading goal!!
Loved this story. The writing (or narration) took some getting used to, but I was able to keep up through most of it. Even more understanding of the timelessness of Jane’s writing!

Enjoyed the first book more, but this one provided good answers while leaving opportunity for more story to come.

This was a very well written book. The time jumps took some getting used to, but I caught on quickly. As a mother of a young son (whose nickname is Bear), the Bear storyline GUTTED me. Loved the Gone Girl style HEA ending.

A continuation of a beloved series, this was a wonderful return to the archipelago of the Fae Isles. Thys was going THROUGH it, and I loved her journey of self-realization. Also Naxi is just a wonderfully written character, and I loved them together.
