Good book for someone not in therapy and not a psychology student. I enjoyed reading it for the referencing to therapy session with clients but the self-help part fell flat because it was nothing new to me.

I didn't particularly like the language used around gender and yoga for women. Not all women have the same experience of feminity. I don't think it was the book for me, I didn't particularly learn anything new.

The tone is condescending and patronizing. It felt like I was being told what it felt like to be a women, like I can't understand it myself. I felt like the writing style was poor because ti could not reflect or show the meaning of the story without telling you what the moral of the story is. It didn't feel that diverse. It didn't feel original i think I've read or heard of the same stories/concepts but in better.
