Ugly cried through the last half of the book, but I loved every moment of it. The writing is beautiful and engaging. The storytelling is not just about the relationships and dynamics, but I loved the character development and real aspects (the basketball, the jobs, the injuries etc).

I loved the poppy wars and this was a great sequel, but a lot of war. Maybe that is expected.. but I wanted more growth or connection that the first book had, which happened when there was war and fights.

I think if this book all the time. I love the world that it was built in and the reality that was pulled into the fantasy world. It felt like a Harry Potter world, but with depth and reality.

This was a fast paced read and a good book overall! It strayed from a conventional love story and I enjoyed the twist and true human turmoil that followed.

Reflective book that left me thinking about feelings and life after. I liked the main characters and their path, but was left with some confusion about the time line

The beginning and part of the middle felt like a slump to me, but the second half of middle and ending was really good. I loved the ending and how it completed.
