it's so freaking cheesy in like one of the best possible ways??? really funny, but sometimes it was almost too idealistic for me to really get into..... like i get it.... this is the best possible timeline for us / uk politics but it would take me out of it lol

who knew all it would take for me to enjoy historical fiction was for it to be gay lol. but also... i really liked this... it doesn't feel historical at all in a weird way??? it has a very modern way of going about history which i think is really interesting... the characters are still really relatable despite the difference(s) in time periods
