While I thoroughly enjoyed the book, it felt like a little was missing. I understand in a series you’re supposed to be left wanting more, but this felt like I read half a book, something incomplete. Like the author stretched out the story to get more books out of the series.

Despite feeling a bit repetitive and stretched out, the content was compelling and entertaining. The character development and dialogue are amazing. The characters yearning and emotions were written very well. Despite my previous criticisms, I was never bored while reading this. I look forward to future installments

The story itself was entertaining and intriguing. I knew there had to be a plot twist at the end but could not figure out what it was. I do feel like the way the relationships between characters developed was a little unnatural, although the plot twist at the end sort of explains this.

I wish we got more details on the other realms/rulers and more about the curses. The explanation at the end felt a little bit rushed. Overall this is a fun and intriguing book, it just needed some small changes!
