I found this to be a very compelling story with a good theme and meaning. I can't wait for my son to get older and I can begin reading him these kinds of tales.

I really enjoyed this book. I did find it a tad slow at times, which is why it's not 5 stars. The characters were super enticing. I low-key love Rhys 🤣 Though Lucien is probably my favorite right now.

Okay, listen, this was my first audio book ever. I just picked something random, and honestly had 0 idea what this was about. I'm so glad I listened to it though. It literally had me HOOKED. I enjoyed the pacing, and CONSTANT twists so much. I feel like I would've read it A LOT faster if it was in print, but I adored how it was read too. This is a very dark, sadistic kind of novel. I don't think it's for everyone, but if you can stomach it, I highly recommend it. It had me on the edge of my seat and I had no idea what was gonna happen next and so much had already happened when I had 10 hours left lol.

I am so in love with this series, but I do think this book introduces SO many new characters at once and sometimes it was just a little confusing... especially since I didn't read the original 2 right before it. Honestly though, the story was super enticing. I enjoyed watching Violet really learn how much of a badass she is and accepting her role in this war. My favorite character in this book is AARIC by A LOT.

I really enjoyed this update to the HoN series. I do appreciate the lack of repitition in this one compared to the original series. Everytime Grandma Redbird says Uwetsiageya, we don't need to hear it's the Cherokee word for daughter lol.
This novel did feel a tiny bit rushed... Like it felt too fast paced, and too out there (even for this series) but definitely left me interested in what else will happen

I enjoyed reading it. It was a really quick pallet cleanser basically. I got it for free from the Kindle app. It didn't feel like there was much of a story because it really was just... SEX, BDSM, connection lol. Which is great, but nothing was really outstanding about any of it. It leaves off on a huge cliffhanger though, and it did leave me curious.

I meeaaan it's not a book I'd tell my mom I loved lol, and it's definitely super cheesy at times. I just can't help really enjoy it. The writing style flowed nicely and the poetic/symbolic flow used in sections were beautiful. Plus, it was pretty hot, duh. Very very dark and twisted for sure. It's not your normal romance by any means, so it's not for everyone.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 7%.
I just couldn't get into it. It put me in a huge reading slump, and I couldn't start anything else without thinking of this untouched book. I haven't read anything since September :( I may come back to it... We'll see
