I found Louisa Sophia's story to be a very good one. She's a likeable character from the start, and you instantly want to side with her in any situation she might end up in. Following the first incident with Louisa Sophia's main adversary, I instantly joined her in despising him. I think I wanted to destroy him just as badly as Louisa Sophia did, after the various stunts he pulled. My only struggle was that I felt there were a few points where transitions and pacing between chapters felt a little bit off, but these were still managable to get through. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this tale and would definitely recommend it!

The Revenge of Captain Vessia was a perfect piratey adventure! From the beginning to the end, I was rooting for Claire in her attempt to get revenge on Queen Amerita, the person who turned her into a vampire. The fact that Princess Moria (Amerita's daughter) joined the pirate cause was a much welcome addition. I loved seeing how Claire and Moria evolved throughout the story, both individually and as a pair. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys pirate adventures with queer representation!
