you see, a takedown of the patriarchy is ok so long as the women doing it aren't this incredibly dumb. it's actually kind of profound how genuinely stupid every character is.

1. i couldn't even give this a biased 5 stars and for me that is saying something
2. ridoc and mira CARRIED
3. it did take me two and half books to realize how annoying and incredibly problematic xaden is but we got there
4. there was something missing and i don't know what it was but the plot just felt...stagnant. we're not in a very different place than we were when iron flame ended and please violet just get over him
