I knew I was going to love this book going into it as a big Didion fan, but WOW!!! This truly blew me away. Her prose is fantastic and makes it impossible to put the book down. This story reminded me a lot of Mulholland Drive by David Lynch with its themes and elements of surrealism. It was right up my alley and I cannot wait for a re-read. That being said, I would recommend taking a look at the trigger warnings before picking it up.

I knew the ending was going to be twisted but I did not expect that. This book is so disgusting and fucked up and I absolutely loved it. Ottessa Moshfegh's mind is a scary place.
