Lock Me Inside by C. Hallman

This book is not for the weak, it's dark, it's derranged and it's so good! I'm not sure what I expected when I started this book, but what I got was a book I could only put down when I needed sleep. Leni is a very sweet, innocent girl who just wants to go to college and start her life. Her stepfather, and step brother's have other plans. It's hard to read sometimes, but this book does seem to end on a higher note that what goes on in the pages.

Saying this book was perfection is not saying enough. I've been in a book slump all month, taking days to read a book, The Merger...hours to finish. I could not put it down. Gannon, the perfect man full stop. Carys was quirky and snarky in all the best ways and their love story was so beautiful!

I was excited to read this book from a recommendation. And while the book started off great, it fell flat quickly for me. I love a book with a lot of dialog, this one is not that. The main character was often in her own head, and that takes me out of the story. Too many things for her to be introspected on and I kept skimming those parts. The MMC was also light on dialog but with out his side of it we had no introspection with him. The build up to the main event and then very little main event made me just skim the remaining story.

Tenor and Ruby's story was so amazing to read. We finally get a inside glimpse of the recluse that is Tenor and he has so many layers. Ruby is the perfect match to get him out of his loner tendencies!

I love this series and will be very sad when it's over! Noah as the single Dad, floundering trying to find his new place is life was such a beautiful story. Victoria was a perfect fit for him and Tess and being back in Maine.

I think what I loved most about this book besides it's amazing heat factor was it does one thing really well. The openness and communication between the three was very different from other Poly books I've read. Sophie and Julian already have an established relationship/marriage that thrives on their kink of her being a hotwife, so seeing them opening talk about adding Kai in was beautiful. This book is spicy, so have a fan near by. Such a perfect story for the conclusion of the Ravaged Castle series!

It was so fun visiting the swim team and coach again. It was chaotic, full of group texts and of course pure love coming from everyone.

I am currently in my cowboy era, and this book was such a different experience of that. More mystery to solve, lots of great characters, all the feels all rolled into this book. The thing I love most about LJ's books is she has perfected the romantic suspense troupe. She gives you enough crumbs to follow and then throws in a twist or two. This book was such a great read, it's for sure going into my reread again pile!
