Incredible book. Filled to the brim with moments that could have been the climax in the Sanderlanch in any of his other books. So many highlights, and so many emotions.
That said, it was far from a perfect book.Kaladin is a pretty mediocre therapist, Brandon did Jasnah really dirty, and Venli is still boring. But I think he landed the “ending”.
Really enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed this. A great story with some really touching moments, coupled with a bunch of fun Cosmere world-building.

I devoured and adored this book. It’s fast paced and kept me riveted. Lots of fun late-era Cosmere fun to be had too. Read it.

Really enjoyed this. I know some folks think some of the jokes were forced, but I’m easy to please and enjoyed most of them. A lovely fairy tale for adults, with plenty of fun Cosmere connections for the fans among us.
Certainly not perfect, but very enjoyable and a breath of fresh air in style.

I think there are a lot of truths in this book. I particularly love the idea of separation of tasks (effectively differentiation theory). Its ideas around our lives only having the meaning we assign them also resonated with me.
I don’t love the format, but it grew on me as worked through the book. The youth is often portrayed as a straw man, but did serve a purpose.
Overall, this book was quite impactful for me, and I think is worth your time.

This book slaps! I was hooked as soon as the cross cosmere connections started to arrive, and they sure didn’t stop. Lots of new secrets here.
And it was also one of the best of the Wax and Wayne books, to boot. Action packed, never drags, fun throughout.
A worthy end to the Wax and Wayne series. Read it!

I do enjoy these books, even if they're not the height of literature. Fun to re-read after reading Secret History. Onward to The Lost Metal!
Bored and Brilliant: How Spacing Out Can Unlock Your Most Productive and Creative Self by Manoush Zomorodi

This is a quick, shallow look at what your social media and devices might be doing to your attention span, focus, and creativity. I found myself frustrated at how much of the book was just quoting other authors -- it's almost like a cliff notes of a bunch of other books (some of which are now on my reading list).
I think the contents of this book are valuable, and the challenges will be really good for a lot of people. Worth a look.

I really enjoyed this action romp. Brandon does a great job making you attached to the characters, and the post-Calamity world that he created is top notch. I doubt it will stay with me in the same way Mistborn or Stormlight Archives has, but well worth reading.

Brandon Sanderson is one creator from whom I have no fear of sequels! Another great entry in the reckoners series. Weird and unexpected, full of mysteries to be unraveled. If you liked Steelheart, this is a no brainer.
