The story is interesting, but only if the characters were not so shallow. The character development happens, but not enough for me to care about him. Ugh, also the shallow female characters and blatant misogyny.

This is Monster but not that dark. I can definitely see this as a movie and how I would start crying. It’s sad but too short as a standalone manga.
