This book is so, so, so beautiful and even better than Night Sky With Exit Wounds (in my opinion). No one writes quite like him.

A book like a good pack of (salt and vinegar) chips. Not much nutritional value, but it certainly feeds the heart!

A brilliant and accessible introduction!! I’m not well versed in philosophy and found this really easy to understand. I learned so much and would suggest this to anyone curious about philosophy.

Read this book. Hype is so worth it. Left me heartbroken in the best way. Miller is a genius.

I’ve read this twice and personally feel no other dystopia compares. As an artist I remain moved by Huxley’s understanding of the importance of good art. It is definitely a product of its time but remains beautiful.

I tried reading this book a bit ago unsuccessfully but am so happy I tried again. Incredibly fascinating. However, I do prefer ‘The Outsider’ still.

I love The Secret Garden and I love this book. McDowell writes in a very engaging way and the information was fascinating. I loved the inclusion of some of Burnett’s other writings, especially the piece about her robin, which made me cry. Highly reccomend.
