Wow! The book is amazing. The Character of Penelope is amazing. She is strong and bold. The plot is a perfect combination of dark romance, spice, and suspense. The plot twist was unexpected. I suggest everyone to read the extended epilogue as well. I am looking forward to reading Evil Boys and Vile Boys.

Well...It was good. But to be honest,I liked the first book more as it had a better plot and suspense level.
This book lacked a good plot. And I still love Penelope more than Lana.
I will read Vile Boys as well. Hope it has a nice plot. Looking forward to reading about Crystal.

Edit: According to the author's note, Evil Boys and Vile Boys happen in the same timeline.

3.5 Stars ⭐ Not as dark as Cat and Mouse Duet.

3 ⭐ The book basically goes like this: Smut - 'you should leave me' - Smut - 'you should leave me' - on repeat.
The story is about a man in his 40s, Lexington who escaped prison and is waiting on the roadside in the rain for a ride. Selena is an abused wife in her 20s, who on her way back home, pities Lex and gives him a ride. Within a few minutes, she senses trouble but by then Lex has his gun pointed at her. His initial intention is to reach the border, and then kill Selena off. But it changes when they both get to know each other better.

Lexington is an actual unhinged MMC. Sociopath.

I enjoyed the book as much as the other 2. It was a book that had something of everything. I liked the suspense, the same I loved from Sick Boys. Even if there are more books to come, I would gladly read those.

First half of book: How can someone be this naive or stupid? (....screaming) Are you stupid?
Second Half: Oooh ... nice turn of events from Scout's side

Review in few sentence: Extreme obsession, FMC is stupid for 50% of the book, unhinged character.
