This was a cute, fun read. I think it could have been a great full length book too, but it did work well as a novel too even though it felt a bit rushed at points. Overall it was a lot of fun, if a bit short.

I love this series and I love seeing more of my favourite characters.

Just wasn’t for me.  Between the flashbacks and the lack of build up but somehow still having the “she’s different” I just didn’t enjoy it

I liked it for the most part. It was cute and fun, and their relationship somehow really worked. But it also skipped over stuff, and has some things that I’m not in to.
Pegging, it had pegging.
There was also a lot left unresolved by the end, outside of their relationship.
Like the inheritance and her cousins and what was so dramatic about the jewellery?

Don’t judge this one by its cover

It was mostly great. It’s a fast and short prequel to their actual story. And I liked it but ended very abruptly. Like we had a story and then all of a sudden BAM
she’s moved to the opposite side of the country without telling him  and he finds out when he goes to her house to talk to her. Instead of her he finds renters. WTF

This was incredibly interesting. It definitely made me think about a lot of things that I hadn’t considered before

It just wasn’t doing it for me. It was too long, too insta lust, and too much with all the secrets that aren’t really secrets

Not quite as good as the first one. It was a bit slower and overly complicated at points. Sometimes it felt like the author was just saying stuff to sound smart, and at others it felt like she was trying to make stupid jumps and hoping no one would catch on. It was a fun read, and I did really enjoy the duet but I just wish the second book had been better.

It also has a trope I really hate
amnesia, I mean really??
