Once again little cringey/concerning on the whole "imprint on a literal child" part of this but otherwise enjoyed it like the others. Liked seeing other vampires outside of the Cullens and seeing the urgency of potential Volturi(vulturi? I dunno the spelling) threat. I also liked quite a bit of the Jacob side of things like how the pack changes and such but some parts were not great.

WOW okay I liked this a lot. Sort of gave me the ick as someone who has dealt with men who fetishize Asian women. Loved Alexis and Jihyun, hated george and geoffrey, their mom irked me on a lot of levels, and Jiwon made a great unhinged character although at many points she was also unlikeable (but her being unlikeable didn't make me hate her. I was frustrated with how she treated her former friends, but I didn't like her feminine rage).
Will read more from this author whenever they release another book.
Please read content/trigger warnings because there is some gross stuff in this

This wasn't bad but it wasn't great. I liked the characters and the concept enough but it was pretty slow for me and didn't end up caring that much by the end. Sort of forced myself to finish it. I liked the "third act twist" and the lil post credit scene tho.

I really really enjoyed this! I haven't read the other books in this series, I actually didn't know this was a prequel to a series, but I def plan on reading the series now especially if the other books are as good as this was for me.

A pretty slow start that really picked up and was quite good by the end. I'm a sucker for a "good for her" story. The characters were overall interesting and although not all of them were likeable, their personalities and stories def kept my interest. I'm also always a sucker for some corvids so having crows or ravens or magpies in a story makes me happy.
Not my favorite from the author, but I did like it.
