Burial Rites by Hannah Kent

4.0

The descriptions are so beautiful and the sense of dreaded waiting and claustrophia can be felt through the writing. I liked Agnes as a character and the nuance Hannah Kent brought to her. It lost focus at the end, and as strange as this may be for me to say ad a pastor, way too much focus on the pastor character. I would have loved more Margret and Agnes time
