i wasn't expecting this to actually be so good after downloading it from a stuff your ereader day event.
yes, everybody is a little insufferable and the pacing is a little weird- however- for a the selection clone with a fantasy element and a lot more subplots I'll have to give When Wishes Bleed its flowers.

so much happened in such little time man like...... i wish the final 1/3rd of the book was longer and you'll get what i mean if you read it. also spoiler alert about the identity of the antagonist i can't believe the big bad is her literal mother that's insane. also fuck her grandma.
