This is the first book that I have read from Cassie Lein. I will most definitely be reading more. This is an intense, interesting, intriguing, story about a woman that takes her life back and wants revenge for what was taken from her. It is an emotionally charged story about a strong woman that survived everything that she went through and wants justice for all of it. She wants her bullies to suffer and she is given the chance at their 10 year school reunion.
Lorna is a fighter. She goes through so very much before she can graduate from high school and leave her life behind forever. She takes her life and her body back and is living the dream. Her dream with a loving caring guy who will do anything and everything for her. Her 10 year high school reunion comes and she knows now is the time to end everything and really put it to rest so she can live the rest of her life in peace.
What revenge she seeks and love how she does it. I absolutely loved how she handles this and continues to stay strong through everything.
This is a very well written enjoyable book. You easily feel what Lorna is going through and went through. You understand her feelings and what she wants to achieve with her revenge. I absolutely love the man in her life. Protecting her and loving her knowing her past. I highly recommend reading this one.
