I love the lack of chaos and toxicity in this book. I love that the characters feel real and mature. I love that they try to be their best for each other. I love that the focus of the book is the healthy cultivation of ALL relationships, not just the romantic ones.
It's so unproblematic and the characters are so kind to each other. They dig deep within themselves and face those mindset-altering life events we all experience with grace and truth.
I think this book actually demonstrates healthy relationship dynamics through its use of character development as the book progresses.
All that being said, Clare Gilmore has become one of my favorite authors (and the first author I've ever followed on Amazon).
