I enjoyed this story. Seanan McGuire had created an interesting world that appeals to me for this book. The story is simple. The themes are delivered clearly. It reads a bit young but that isn't a problem for me. I would say that I enjoyed this story more than the other books in the series thus far. However, it's not a 5-star book for me because I don't think that it is a boom I would remember and want to come back to to experience again.
