I adore Kerri's writing and normally I jump right in and can't stop. For some reason this book had a bit slower of a start for me than her other books. But once I was about a quarter of the way in I couldn't stop. I was supposed to be reading this on a buddy read schedule but that went out the door around chapter 28/29. I read the rest of the book in one sitting.
I loved the idea of these two being sworn enemies. Adriana and Gluttony hate each other all stemming from a night that they remember VERY differently. Their history wasn't all thrown at us at once. I liked that as the reader it took time to piece it all together.
