How to Steal a Thief by A.J. Sherwood

5.0

Mwwwaaaahhhhaaahhhhaaahhhhaaaa! Ok I just feel like this series always needs evil cackling from the pure unadulterated fun of it all. Ivan in particular deserves an evil cackle. He's always going to parade right into danger without really thinking about it and there's probably some ridiculousness involved. He and Aiden were just cute. I found it to be perfectly Ivan to try to solve the problems of a guy who was supposed to be his victim, but Ivan just can't steal from the poor. Aiden, man oh man, poor guy! Such an awful family. I loved seeing Ivan and the crew turn his world upside down in the best possible way. He's such a good soul, I could absolutely see him as a doctor, but he's had things just rough enough to make his ignore or really shrug off the illegal nature of a lot of what the guys do.

All of these guys make me smile, but Remi is a true joy. She of the shiny pink taser is just too cute for words. She almost effortlessly seems to bring these embittered men to their knees and well Aiden also quickly falls victim to the little spitfire. Of course all of our heroes here might be a little bit of the anti-hero, but they've got such good hearts. They're never going to be the ones hurting the weak or the less fortunate. Just the way I like my criminals.

A.J. Sherwood is one of my all time favorite authors. Her books always make me smile and I adore her characters. They're amazing. There is such joy in these stories despite all the crazy going down. I can't wait to see K get his comeuppance.
