The book does not hook you in right away. Bonnie Garmus keeps you curious, wondering what's the story set in the 1950s struggling scientist is gonna give you. Who is Elizabeth Zott? What's her story? But, there you go! Once you get inside the world of Zott, there is no turning back! An unputdownable story that inspires and empowers you! It is not easy to "really" empathise with the feelings and struggles of women in those days when we sit and think about it in today's comfort. But Garmus makes it so easy as she draws you into the world.
Brilliant writing which is just so comforting to read. Every single character has the depth that you autom tically relate to them.
