you know that John Green quote: " I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once"? this is pretty much how I feel while reading these graphic novels. they are slowly yet firmly yet all at once becoming my favourite graphic novels.
Susan, Esther and Daisy come to the readers in little chapters of slices of life of a new adult in university. Their stories never cease to make me feel a little lighter, a little better. Reading the last chapter of this volume was a blessing after receiving some bad news and I can't thank these characters enough for lifting me up when I was down. When I think of Giant Days, my heart skips a light beat, because they're so special and make me feel better. And what is better to a 20-year-something than something that makes you feel better about life?
