I'm definitely in the minority on this one! I received a copy I believe from a giveaway but it's labeled an ARC.

So what happened? The best way I can put it is word garbage. The descriptions in this book made me feel like the author was boosting her word count. The characters are made out like they are well off. I find it hard to believe ramen is on there list of things to eat. Or describing your McDonald's meal... Yes it's important. I also don't understand quoting mean girls? Some people haven't seen this movie nor really watched it enough for this to be funny. This was my first read by this author but I found it challenging to keep reading. I thought the idea was good but what I really wanted was heat between the characters. When he told Stacia he loved her I almost fell out of my chair. Like I said though I’m in the minority because the book has over four stars. Author also promotes another author's book in her book which I have only seen one other time.

Would I recommend or buy? I thought the idea was great but seriously thought the author veered off topic too much to consider it a book I’d enjoy. I loved the cover which is eye catchy. I’d have a hard time recommending it. I am in no way trying to disrespect the author, just voicing what I did not enjoy.
