Anathema comes highly recommended by the Books of Horror group on Facebook so had to dive in myself to see what the hype is about. I read this one before Robert's connected book The Exorcist's House. This one ticks all the boxes, creepy house, mysterious events, supernatural horror. This one will make you question yours and the characters sanity. I loved the creepy, chilling vibes and tense story. This one can be read as standalone but I'd highly recommend checking out The Exorcist's House. Both are standalone but have some connected events. Leave the lights on with this one.
