"Here me out!" I scream as the nurses drag me kicking and screaming into the psych ward.
I liked the characters and the world building, I enjoy reading villains. However, the brain rot/TikTok language in this is...something. Everytime I started to get into the book, there was a reference to "good soup" or some other cringe thing.
Was it strangely addicting? Yes. Was it good, funny, or made of any real substance? No. Did I read it for those things? Also no. Will I read the sequel? Absolutely.
Like C'mon. I have the same name as the female lead. I need to know how this goes for us. To use the same TikTok language as Jasmine, "Gots to see it through my boy. Gots to see it through."
