Sacred Stone by Craig Dirgo, Clive Cussler
3.0
Cabrillo and his team are back chasing down weapons of mass destruction all over Europe and the Middle East, while employing trucks, planes, helicopters, boats and hand-held weapons. Can they stop the terrorists before the weapons are used?
Many times better than the first Oregon book, this one was still marked by amateurish writing styles such as an awkward cliff hanger at the end of every chapter (and many sections): "Little did he know that the next doctor he would visit would be a coroner." Also, there was just too much going on. By the end of the story there were 4-6 different teams (I lost count) of characters being followed. This book most likely gets three stars from me because I read it on the heels of its terrible predecessor.
