The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

5.0

I just finished reading The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It's takes place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It's about a boy who's friend commits suicide when he's in middle school, and about his first year of high school. It highlights many of the problems teenagers face. The whole book is written in the format of letters to an unknown person. Possibly even multiple people.

At first, I didn't really like this book. I didn't think it was all that well written. I kept reading it though. I wound up liking it a lot. I found I could even relate to Charlie. I think in a way, a lot of people could relate to him and what he's been through. I think many teenagers should read this book. I think that they may find it helpful in regards to coping.
