I liked the writing style and the drama as I listened to the audiobook while cross stitching. 

Avery is the worst character. He is not a man he left Ellen and then didn’t want to commit and complete what he started with Louise (I didn’t like how she was represented as the absolute evil) 

Ellen was so naive that much she really irritated me. Also she didn’t fight to get her husband before the divorce.  

Ann was very childish in the beginning like a 7 years old. How later she became in a position to talk about separation and divorce?

The character I liked the most was John and I was thinking that he will end up with Ellen. 

I enjoyed the overall experience and I will explore the writer’s other work.
