People sit down, never standing up or really living again. What a weird thing to write a book about, but somehow it worked.
➕ The relationships between the characters in this felt so real. None were perfect, everyone had something going on. Just like real life. Fin and Andrew, and Andrew and Yun were my favorite.
➕ Bi representation. Always a huge win for me.
➕ The ending, Yun sitting down. Loved it!
➕ I highlighted many quotes in this book. There was a lot of beautiful language that I loved.
➖ As much as I liked the pandemic in this, I felt like it needed something more. More context, more explanation.
“If she didn’t make you want to change, the it wasn’t love.”
“By that logic, she didn’t change for me either.”
“Women change for everyone, men just don’t notice.”
