Viano Oniomoh is a master of marrying the world of romance and fantasy together in her own unique way. Michael and Jack felt almost reminiscent of Cedric and Runo from one of the author’s previous works. Heartwarming, engaging, and refreshing, Easy As Falling is the perfect palette cleanser in between reads.
It seems like a disservice that we are with these characters only briefly therefore I can only imagine what Viano could’ve done with this story in a fully developed novel. However, in less than 250 pages the author manages to craft an endearing love story with some simplistic, yet tasteful overarching themes.
Easy as Falling reminds us all what a gift it is to love freely without restraint and to have the autonomy to create our own destiny the way we see fit. For what good is a life filled with duty, if we don’t have people we love to share our joy with?
