If I had a dollar for every time I wished I was Pip I would not need a benefactor. I have read this book about 6 times and each time I take something new away from it.Being the Anglophile that I am maybe I was Pip in a former life.Then in another life I was Charles Dickens and I wrote about my life as Pip. It could have happened that way...... right ??

UPDATE I just finished this again. This time, though, I read it with a few friends, I Love reading as a group because you get to hear other opinions,as well as the ones you already hold. In short, this will forever go down in my top10 books. I love everything about it. The imagery,characterization,the humor and wit.
