This was such an experience! This novella was such a concentrated story that you almost forget that it’s ending soon. Within these few pages, Ashley Michele brings you into this darkened and damned world, and gives you something to live for in the way of fire from the devil’s right hand. The imagery painted in this novella is astounding. You can see the sights, feel the fire, the church, the emotions, you are in the story. She gives us so much in just a few pages that I can’t wait to see what happens when she decides to expand.
