I had to go back and do a re-read of this series so far now that I know Cooper's book is coming soon!

Mackenie is seriously superstitious and beyond fanatical about her baseball team.  She ropes family and friends into all her weirdness and they just go with it.  Her team may be the worst in the league but to her, they are still gods.  So when they get a new player transferred and Mac realises his secret, she is on a one-woman mission to save her team - even if she has to think up ever crazier plans to keep his "virtue" intact!

Brooks loved his team almost as much as Mac loves the Fireballs so being transferred to some no-hoper team has cut him deeply.  He's not going to make friends and he wants out as quickly as possible.  He got as far as he did by being the older Virgin in baseball - so now that his team doesn't want him he's determined to lose his v-card ASAP!  Now he and the Fireball's biggest fan have locked horns!!

Mac and Brooks are some of the biggest superstitious nuts I've ever read about.  Mac takes FANATIC to a new level!  I loved her sweet but oh-so-strong adoration of the players, so much so she can't talk to them, lol.  Brooks was a grump on a mission to lose his v-card but as he spends more time with the team and Mac, he finds himself realising that he may just have found a new family.  They won't replace his NY family but family is what you make it.

I loved the little glimpses of the Bro Code characters and snorted more than a few times at Parker's phone auto-correct antics.  Smart, sweet, smexy and a SportsRomance that even I, non-sports person that I am, enjoyed tremendously.
